If you were ever difficult in our dealings, thank you for helping me practice patience.
If you’ve given encouragement this year, I thank you for making the world a better place.
If you shared an opposing view, thank you for helping me work to be more open-minded.
If I witnessed you show hatred, thank you for helping me appreciate the many compassionate, kind, and loving people in my life.
If you’ve forgiven me for mistakes, whether old or new, I appreciate you more than you know.
If you’ve been a friend to me, I love you and value our friendship and look forward to many more years to come.
If you’ve said words that I found hurtful, thank you for reminding me to work to choose my own words and responses more thoughtfully.
If you’re reading this now, I wish you nothing but joy, peace, and blessings for the coming year.
